Premium price, budget service. Disappointing.
"I spent £340 on the Devola 9000 BTU unit, trusting it to be a premium, "all-in-one" solution for my loft. Instead, it has been an absolute nightmare. The build quality of the accessories is shockingly poor. The exhaust pipe is incredibly awkward to attach and doesn't easily slot into the connector at the back of the unit. The "window kit" is even worse—the adhesive failed almost immediately, peeling off the frame and making the entire setup useless. The biggest disappointment, however, is the customer service. Despite paying £340 for a kit that is advertised as ready-to-use, Devola refused to help when the mounting system failed. They won't replace the faulty adhesive and wouldn't even offer a paid replacement option. Their response was basically to tell me to go out and buy my own fix. If you are looking for a product that works out of the box with a company that supports its customers, look elsewhere. At this price, the fact that I’m having to "DIY" the installation because of cheap, sub-standard parts is unacceptable. I regret not returning it immediately and will not be buying from this brand again."
