"Having purchased two of these units complete with the window kits, I have been thoroughly testing them out. Overall, they are effective machines that offer good value for money without being overpriced. PROS: The cooling efficiency is impressive, lowering the room temperature quickly. When it comes to noise, it is exactly as expected for a portable unit. It is certainly not too bad, and I find it quite easy to sleep with the machine running. The constant, monotonous hum actually functions rather well as a white noise machine. Setting up the included window kit is straightforward. It successfully prevents hot air from returning inside and has the added benefit of keeping mosquitos, flies, and other bugs out of the room. The smart features are another highlight; the Wi-Fi connectivity is reliable, and the integration with Alexa works seamlessly. CONS: The main drawback lies in the fan speed options. There are only two levels of blowing strength available, and even the lower setting feels too powerful. There are times when a gentle cooling breeze would be preferred, but it is simply not possible with the current configuration. Adding a third, lower fan speed would make this a perfect device. A gentler setting would reduce noise levels even further while still providing sufficient cooling for milder days. Despite this limitation, it remains a highly capable and efficient air conditioner."
